On Monday, January 13, the US Supreme Court refused to consider an appeal by three women who were convicted for violating an ordinance in the city of Laconia, NH that makes it illegal to show bare female breasts in public. The New Hampshire Supreme Court had ruled that it didn’t discriminate against women, even though its definition for nudity is different for men than for women.
